Charity Maria is such a joy. She will be five in April. Seems like yesterday she was just a dream, then holdng her in our arms we knew she was real. Now she is growing up so fast. In no time at all she will be trading this white party dress for a wedding gown. Time goes by so quickly. Cherish the moments. Ask God to live each day to its fullest with your kids. Take time not just to smell the roses, but to pick them with your kids, to throw the petals in the air together, then dance, laugh, play, cry, and live together. Do not let the lust and desires of this age steal from you the valuable asset you possess, your family. Ask God to give wisdom, grace, and love.

I remember one time sharing with Joshua and reminding him that I will not always be here for him on this earth. One day I will pass from this life, BUT, I have full assurance that I will be in heaven. Then I looked at him and said, "BE THERE."

The book of Third John, verse 4, " I have no greater joy than to know that my children walk in truth." (translated from the Portuguese NIV by me)

Pray for Diana and Tom as our schedule is just about full for 2006. We are humbled by the fact that God would use us to reach out to so many in so many different places. We are grateful to be a part of a ministry that has a family cirriculum that is so adaptable to just about every need. And boy do families have big needs. May God give us wisdom to continue with strenght and stamina throughout the rest of the year.

Charity is growing up sooooo fast. She is in her second year of pre-school, 1/2 a day. She really enjoys being with her best friends Mariana, and Julia. We made the dining room into a play room for her to enjoy friends over at the house, too.

Note that there are only the three girls in her class.

The next two fotos are with very good friends Donna Faircloth, and her adopted daughter Rebecca. We spent a little time with them in Recife at the beach....Chicken Port...fun place.
